The chaos may pass, but trauma can outlast the noise, and the headlines. Survivors often face invisible wounds: sleep loss, emotional numbness, sudden anger, and isolation. Yet, people’s attention and resources stop at “you survived”, nothing more.
However, true recovery requires continued mental-health support: safe spaces to speak, consistent care, patient communities, and people willing to stay. You don’t need any credentials to help, only a calm presence and a listening ear.
This World Mental Health Day 2025, let’s commit to long-term mental recovery.
Check in on people. Speak openly about mental health issues. Advocate for services that last long even after the crisis ends.
Happy World Mental Health Day!
